The Flyin' L Chuck Wagon
Our chuck wagon has a lot more mileage on it than you might think. Besides being almost 100 years old, it has travelled to many locations in Missouri helping the Regulators spread the word about our western heritage. We have prepared and served food to numerous private groups and public outings. We always do so with the fun and high jinks of the rowdy hands of the Flying L Ranch. I don't know how Trailboss keeps these boys in line.
(Left) View of Lucky's work table. Some unfortunate cowboy made the mistake of leaving his hat on the tailgate. Everyone had to pay for that transgression as the hat served as "fiber" for the evening meal.
(Right) Lucky was so upset that he went on strike and threw his apron down. All the Regulators had to chop a lot of firewood and clean his coach gun to get him back on the job. In the end, Lucky made a great apple cobbler and the crew was thankful.

We've had a great time working on our chuck wagon and we are pretty proud of the way it has turned out. If you are interested in having us come to your event, please drop us a line via those Pony Express boys or send us a telegraph. It will be well worth your time to consider!!
Right: See what fun ya can have in Missouri in March! The South Fork gang went to set up the chuck wagon and feed the annual meeting that B.A.M. (Blacksmiths Association of Missouri) was having in Shelbyville, MO one Saturday. We got a little surprise when we ran into a norther coming through that dropped over 3 inches of snow on our cow camp. Those smithees still enjoyed the chuck and we had fun, too!!
