July 20th:  The Regulators will perform some gunfight re-enactments at the Audrain County 4H Youth Fair.  There may also be some mounted Regulators there.  Watch out!!  They're packin'!!
Those fine people from Martinsburg were celebrating their town's anniversary and asked the Regulators to come help them relive some of their history.  It seems that back in 1868 there were a few folks tryin' to register to vote in that year's upcoming presidential election.  Since the Civil War was still fresh in many minds, there will ill feelings toward the political persuasions or the side someone fought on in the conflict.  The registering officers sent out to surrounding communities wanted to ensure that General Grant and the Republican Party carried the day.  To that end, they found many ways to disenfranchise a lot of the voters who might vote for the Democratic candidates.  Sometimes the disagreements ended in heated debates only, but on a few rare occasions, the disagreements led to bloodshed.  That's just what happened in Martinsburg, MO is September 1868.
Above:  Just prior to the fight, the boys need to load up their irons.

Right:  Wm. Mordica, Delmonte, Charlie, Mad Bad John, Muddy, Bisley, Lucky, Cherokee, and Bounty Hunter are makin' sure everyone has their part down pat.
Miss Hallie is wonderin' just when that rain is going to end...or maybe she is figurin' just how much life insurance she has on Muddy.  Hmm.
While Mad Bad John tries to get the crowd into the spirit of things (left), the rest of the 'registering officers' are plotting how to keep those pesky Democrats from voting.  Wm. Mordica and the Delmonte Kid stand guard over the proceedings.
While Bisley is directing traffic above, Bounty Hunter anticipates some trouble and loads his scattergun.  The group arrives to register to vote and don't you know it but that Lucky fellow gets into it with Muddy.
The physical altercation turns to gunplay in the middle of the street and yes, one of those Democrats died just because he wanted to vote!  Oh, the shame of it all!!
With three men dead, Mad Bad John looks for other troublemakers.  In the end, those murderers were acquitted on the charges because they pled "self-defense."
June 8th:  Moniteau Creek River Raiders monthly shoot at 9:30am.  FINALLY, WE GOT TO SHOOT!!!
August 2nd:  Our fourth trip to the annual Farber Fun Fest where the Regulators put on gunfights for the crowds in Farber, Missouri starting at about 9:30am.
August 10th:  Moniteau Creek River Raiders monthly shoot in Fayette, MO.  9:30am.
August 16th:  Martinsburg Picnic Parade at noon.  The Regulators provide some flavor for the town's big shindig.  The Longhorn Saloon will also be there supporting this annual event.  So come on out and have some fun!!
September 26th - 28th:  7th Annual Audrain County Historical Society's Walk Back in Time.  The Regulators plan on 'setting up town' those days in Mexico.  Come on down for a great time!!

September 20th:  Boone County Historical Society's Heritage Festival.  The Regulators go down to Columbia, MO and participate a little in mixing with the crowds.
