Posing for photos after the Texas Tick Fever Gunfight. There are two different groups of re-enactors for this gunfight and each year, they get together to do a couple of skits. We appreciate all of their hard work and friendship. We could not ask for better guys!!
Shooting it out with those border raiders who were trying to hang Trailboss! We won...but barely!
Deadeye and Cherokee are making sure Cookie knows what he is doing with those beans.

Wild West History Camp
June 12 - 16, 2006
This year's history camp held in Mexico, Missouri had a Wild West theme and the South Fork Regulators were there in force to assist with all things Native American and Cowboy. Take a look at the pics from this year's camp.
Monday and Tuesday were spent learning about the Native Americans. Grey Wolf and Man Horse did a fantastic job educating the campers on the lives of the Native Americans of the 19th Century. In fact, some unfortunate campers were on the 'receiving end' of an Indian attack by Grey Wolf (lower right).
In the gruesome battle that ensued, our hapless Lucky fell prey to the lance of Man Horse (below).
Tuesday's gunfight found Lucky, Pablo, and Delmonte scouting ahead for the wagon train of new pioneers (below).
Little did they know but they were crossing sacred Indian grounds and they were being closely watched by Grey Wolf and Man Horse (above).
By Friday, the Regulators were at the History Camp in full force prepared to talk about the life of the cowboy. From left to right: Trailboss "Santa" Dave, Lucky, Miss Sue, Pablo, Bisley Packer, Big Muddy, and Cherokee Christie.
Lucky told all the kids about the life of the chuck wagon cook.
Trailboss Dave and Big Muddy gave everyone a facinating look at the history of late 19th century firearms. It was awesome!!
Cherokee explained how cowboys tossed their loop while Bisley made sure he didn't make off with his new lariat. Miss Sue told the campers about Women in the West, many facts I am sure they didn't know.
The week ended on Friday after the last gunfight when Cherokee invited Miss Sue to a necktie party in her honor. She was rescued just in the nick of time. After the entire week, the Regulators were exhausted. The efforts were well worth it to share our love and knowledge of our Western Heritage. Good Job, Regulators!!
